The Erdos Institute May-Summer 2024 enrollment window has been extended through April 30, 2024.
The Erdos Institute is a multi-university collaboration that helps PhDs get rewarding jobs in industry and off-loads non-academic professional development mentorship from graduate school programs. Erdos provides fully remote training programs (data science boot camp from May 6-June 5, deep learning boot camp from June 7-August 30, mini-courses and study groups in topics such as data visualization, quantum computing, software engineering for data scientists, etc. taught by former academics for current academics), career exploration seminars, one-on-one career coaching, behavioral and technical interview preparation workshops, employer and Erdos alumni career connections, and job postings.

Participation is free for graduate students and academics affiliated with our Full Member academic member institutions. Tuition otherwise costs $500/individual for first-time participants and $25/month for Erdős alumni.
The enrollment and tuition payment deadline for the May-Summer 2024 Cohort is Tuesday, April 30, at 11:59pm ET.
We strongly encourage prospective participants from non-member institutions to reach out to their advisor/postdoc mentor, department, college, graduate school, and/or university for funding support. Departments often have professional development, conference, or travel funds that they are willing to use for this purpose.
We also write letters of support for faculty who wish to write Erdos professional development support into their grant applications.
