NATIONAL LAB DAY 2010 - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
National Lab Day is a nationwide initiative to build local communities of support that will foster ongoing collaborations among volunteers, students and educators. Volunteers will work together with teachers and students to improve labs and discovery-based science experiences for students in grades 6-12. The first week of May, 2010, will celebrate this collaboration with National Lab Day activities across the country. Volunteers are still needed to work with their local middle and high schools to help them do more project-based learning with their students. Volunteers might install software or identify useful web resources, fix and find equipment, implement hands-on projects, etc.  To learn more, see
