Ethical Guidelines and AMS Journal Policies

A quality journal publishing program adds value to the manuscripts submitted to it by providing quality control and by improving content and presentation, dissemination, and archiving. AMS Research Journals participate as members of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) which provides support and guidance on peer review and all aspects of publication ethics.  In line with this guidance, the AMS has developed guidelines and best practices for all journal stakeholders including editors, reviewers, authors, and readers.

These guidelines, procedures, and policies cover materials that are submitted, in review, accepted for publication, or already appearing in AMS Journals.
